A Wild Fire(A Fire Bey V x Heritage Wild Rice)

A Wild Fire
For the second year in a row, multi-champion A Wild Fire took home Top Ten honours in Arabian English Pleasure at the 2002 US Arabian Nationals. Among his other national wins A Wild Fire was named 1999 Reserve National Champion in Informal Combination. In the show ring, A Wild Fire's beauty, temperament, and athletic ability are simply incredible.

A Wild Fire blends what is uniquely his into an incredible heritage which speaks of true performance excellence. This bold gray stallion has a pedigree that speaks for itself. His sire, Afire Bey V, is an extraordinary stallion, producing many US Champions. Combining this lineage with Heritage Wild Rice (El Magato), has created a truly unparalleled match. A Wild Fire demonstrates a wonderful combination of classic Arabian type and contemporary athleticism. There are few stallions that possess his kind of being; a gentle loving nature, one you connect with and love. He will touch your soul and ignite it with his "Fire".

Bill and Jean O'Brien, LJR Elite Show Horses, are proud to be the owners of A Wild Fire. "Wild Fire's talent in the show ring coupled with his ability to warm your heart with his gentle manner, ensure his get will no doubt be in the winners circle." Purchased as their first purebred arabian stallion, the O'Brien's breeding program has been small and highly focussed on top quality. "It has been thrilling to have our breeding program so successful; producing and selling all of our foals and watching them have successful show carreers."

A shining example of Wild Fire get is the O'Brien's 2001 colt, LJR Some Like It Hot. This half-Arabian colt has already lit up the show ring. As a weanling, winning his first Reserve National Championship at the 2001 National Show Horse Finals, this colt finished the season in roses as NSH District 3 Colts and Geldings Champion. In 2002, so far a spectacular year, Some Like It Hot made his debut in yearling sweepstakes halter winning Reserve Champion honours in both Region 12 and Region 14. Jean and Bill are looking forward to his US Nationals competition.

Also this year, the O'Briens eagerly awaited the arrival of their very own Purebred Arabian Wild Fire foal out of their mare Be Striken (Strike x Barbaia (Barbary). They were overjoyed when their new colt LJR On The Wild Side arrived. This colt has all the makings of a true National competitor. A neck straight up from the shoulder, pretty head, set back withers, short back, great size, and an amazing attitude will definitely distinguish this colt from all others.

All of us at LJR are looking forward to watching "Wild Fire" get in the roses.
